Description: GREAT DISNEYLAND UNION BANK RETIRED PENNY & NEW PENNY HOLDER CARD!!DL0155 This retired Disneyland penny was featured in a machine inside the Union Bank of California, formerly in the Bank of Main Street. It was retired when the bank closed in 2003. It is very rare pressed penny from the Union Bank of California located on Main Street at Disneyland. Union Bank became the official bank of Disneyland in 1999, and offered a free to use pressed penny machine within their location. These scarce pressed pennies feature the text "Disneyland" and "Union Bank of California" as well as an image of a locomotive. This penny is the rare DL0155 pressed penny, which has the 2nd dot on the bottom-left side slightly larger than the others. It pressed on a post 1983 penny which is copper plated zinc, zinc cents can show "streaks" or silver smearing that shows through the copper plating. The penny holder was never use and preserved within a protective card casing; single screw opens with small screwdriver. Perfectly preserved for nearly two decades. While the smashed Union Bank pennies are hard to find today, these unused cards are extremely rare and an often overlooked paper collectible from Disneyland.The Union Bank penny is NOT inside the plastic protector.
