Description: The heater in my VW van is in a dusty area so I printed this inlet cover which works well to keep the dust, bugs and carpet fuzz out. My heater is a 5kW Chinese knockoff with the typical silver inlet that screws on. The inlet is 3 and 1/8" (80mm) in diameter. This cap is about 82mm to allow for imperfections in roundness. Just warm one side with a heat source like a lighter and press in a tiny bit and the cap will fit snugly and won't fall off. If you have an inlet of a different size, message me with the diameter and heater wattage and I will try to design and print one for your size inlet. Be sure to take the cap off before firing up the heater -- no harm will be done but you sure won't get any warm air! The cap is made of PETG plastic which resists high temps and warping.
