Description: I’ve put a lot of work into this kit as a project. I bought a few orphaned shells sometime back, with a wrap that was tearing away. Assembled a 10”-12”-14”-16” set up with a 22x18” bass drum. 14x12 and 16x13 floor toms, that were originally mounted but my opinion is these are way too big to not be on legs, so I had them professionally adapted to floor toms. The shells have been meticulously sanded, the wood stained, and just enough gloss on it to make it look shinier than a ‘satin’ kit, but not as glossy as a lacquer. This is the second kit I’ve done like this and I absolutely love the look. Additionally I swapped the older RIMS mounts with newer STM mounts on the 10 and 12” toms. I purchased a brand new slide rail mount because the other one was beat up (a new one costs over $200). Several hours of work and a lot of money into this kit, but I’ve been playing just a 4pc set up the last couple years and it’s not getting used. Shipping price includes insurance.
