Description: Offered for your consideration is a clear glass cream pitcher made by Adams and Company (1861-1891) in their "Opera" pattern. Also known as "Actress", "Jenny Lind", or "Pinafore", this pattern dates circa 1880s. The creamer measures slightly over 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall, 3.25 inches (8.3 cm) wide, and is 5.5 inches (14 cm) long from end of spout to outer edge of handle. The creamer is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, nor repairs. There is roughness in spots along rim. Cream pitcher is used so there may be faint surface scratches, minimal wear, or additional indications of use. The foot and stem are frosted and the remaining glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time. This creamer will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
