Description: This is, in my opinion, a Big Sandy style point with side notches, elliptical cross-section, ground bases on both sides, possibly ground notches, the sides are convex. It's likely been anciently re-sharpened due to the resultant 1.1" length. The base is 1.05" wide. The material appears to be Indiana Hornstone and has patina and mineralization. I bought this in an old frame, with the points glued to red felt years ago. There is still some residual glue on the back of the point.
