The deck effectively functions as a strong, blue/black control deck, with a ton of different ways to generate an enormous amount of value. First, the Deck features Toxrill as Commander with his incredibly powerful 1-sided board wipe and card draw abilities. The deck adds a number of cards that can accelerate Toxrill's board wipe with abilities such as proliferate, and also cards such as Mass Diminish and Polymorphist's Jest that will shrink all opponents' creatures to 1/1s, allowing Toxrill's counters to instantly kill all opponents' creatures. In addition, there are a handful of other board wipe effects such as Massacre Girl and In Garruk's Wake. Because Toxrill is a relatively mana-intensive commander, the deck features a ton of mana acceleration to help you quickly cast him, as well as ways to "cheat" him out early such as Netherborn Altar. The deck additionally adds a handful of other horror creatures, many of which have their own powerful abilities (diminishing opponents' creatures, card draw, creature removal, etc). Finally, the deck has a ton of removal spells and counterspells to help you keep opponents at bay in the early game, card draw effects, and a ton of different synergies when Toxrill starts taking down your opponents' armies (such as drain effects when their creatures die, reanimate effects, card draw, etc).
