Description: This is a pre-owned antiquated book by Joseph Jacobs. I believe it to be from 1895. I went through every page of this book, and to be honest, it is in fair condition. It does have some of the usual issues that an old book has. The cover has discoloration spots and there are water stains throughout the book. The spine has some tears. The prior owner's name is on inside cover. Also, there is a loose page in front of the book. The binding in the beginning has pulled apart slightly. But for the most part, the binding is pretty good for the rest of the book. Page 83 has a rip outside of the margins. And of course, the pages have yellowed somewhat. So why would someone want to buy this book? Well, if you're a collector of antiquated books, especially ones of fairy tales, then this book maybe for you. Check out my pictures that show the contents of the book. Also, this book is mostly legible except for the word "Cottage" on page 43. So to sum it up, The binding is together for the most part. Almost all the words are legible. And in my opinion, this would be a great antiquated find. You decide. Please review all pictures as part of the description.
