The globe shows a rich gold color when lit up and features a sundial complete with the time zones finished with copper tone metal hardware. The map shows lots of details, including voyages of the explorers and their routes. It also features a 3 gauge weather station, which appears to be functioning. This nicely preserved globe is in amazing condition with vivid color and crisp, clear graphics, as shown in the detailed photos provided.
