Description: This is a print from an engraving probably by Thomas Bolton Gilchrist Septimus Dalziel (1823–1906) (as distinct from his brother George who was mainly a wood engraver) produced around 1849. This appears to be a steel engraving. The engraving is hand colored. It comes from "The Land We Live In"; Published by Charles Knight, London in 1850. It has a modern frame to museum standard with light refracting glass and acid free mount. Image size is 8" x 6" There is a part of a library impress stamp to the top right. It is very difficult to see and will not come out on a photograph. Free shipping in the USA.
