Description: I am selling what is perhaps one of the rarest pieces of World of Warcraft memorabilia in existence: a custom painted World of Warcraft laptop that was auctioned for charity in 2007. Some backstory: In 2007 Blizzard and Dell hosted a charity auction in which they sold two World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade limited-edition XPS M1710 laptops. These laptops were each hand painted by renowned artist Mike Lavallee. Each laptop was also signed by Dell Chairman Michael Dell and Blizzard Entertainment's Vice-President of Gaming Rob Pardo. The proceeds from the auction were given to charity. Please see the attached news article in the photos for additional information. The event was a big enough deal to garner a press release from Dell Computers! I was one of the two auction winners approximately sixteen years ago (I am the buyer from Texas noted in the news article). I have owned the laptop the entire time in a smoke free home. And I have made the decision to potentially part with this special piece of gaming history. Again, only two of these laptops were ever produced. Original vanilla server blades are rare and are priced in the thousands – but this laptop is one of only two. The laptop itself still runs and has a Windows Vista operating system, but is principally being sold as a collectors item. The laptop is also being sold as is. Please let me know if you have any questions.
