The edges are painted in black and there is the Black Watch gold lettering on the top of the lid. There is an original escutcheon to the front and fully working original lock and bow key. Stop hinges to the lid.The interior has twin compartments for teas. There are twin lids also in tartan, with wooden button lifting knobs.
