Fender Squier Classic Vibe '60s CUSTOM TELECASTER that's been modified/upgraded. Solid Nato String-Through Body with a gorgeous 3-color Sunburst finish. This model is inspired by the original 1960's Telecaster Custom with "Cream Binding" on the Top & Back. Has a set of Fender designed Alnico Single-Coil Pickups that sound fantastic! The Bridge Pickup has great clarity & bite. The Neck Pickup is one of the best I've personally heard. It sounds clear, with a classic warm, thick tone. I personally feel that most Tele Neck Pickups sound dull & muddy, not this one!Has a Vintage style String-Through Ashtray Tailpiece with 3-Barrel Saddles, Master Volume & Tone Controls and 3-way Selector Switch. Original 3-ply White Pickguard has been replaced with a new 3-ply Mint Green Pickguard that goes perfectly with the Sunburst finish and gives this Tele a Vintage/Retro appearance. I don't know why but the Pickguard came out looking white in some of the pictures for some reason, but it is Mint Green. Note that this model comes stock from the manufacture with 21-Fret "Pau Ferro" Fretboard. If you prefer a MAPLE FRETBOARD like I personally do, I've installed a new, high quality, vintage tinted gloss "Canadian Rock Maple" Neck, with a 22-Fret 25.5" scale "Maple Fretboard". Has a Skunk-Stripe & Truss-Rod Plug like Fender Necks and has a BONE NUT!Headstock has a vintage style water-slide decal applied, then sealed with gloss Lacquer. Has a new set of quality vintage style Inline Tuners with split-shafts and a new chrome Fender Neck-Plate.Strung up with a fresh set of quality D'Addario 10-46 Strings (the Brand most Pros use & the only Strings I use) and a complete set-up done: truss-rod relief, low action, intonation & Pickup heights.Wonderful playing, sounding, beautiful Sunburst Custom Telecaster with a Vintage/Retro Vibe and is an affordable alternative! I consider Guitars to be "playable Art", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I'm not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I'm "extremely meticulous"! If you're looking for this type of Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don't) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing cleaned & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it's a used Guitar, I'm sure you've found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one! Also, will other Seller's description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can't predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference "may" be required, and if you can't do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up, that again may require adjustments on your end.
