Description: For sale today is the rare and out-of-print (oop) Light Speed Press trade paperback (tpb)/graphic novel Finder (Volume 7): The Rescuers by Carla Speed McNeil, published in 2005. Story and art by Carla Speed McNeil. Anvard's upper classes have become quite blase about the threat of kidnapping. There's even been talk about writing a convention to define ethical treatment of victims held for ransom, and prosecuting only those who don't follow the rules. What's an honest cop to do, in a world where kidnapping is legal? I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good condition, especially when considering its age, with a solid spine, and excellent overall inside pages (photo#12 example). Other than a large depression on its front cover, it has few and lesser signs of wear, all of which primarily affects its externals. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Scuffing/compression. **Photo#5: -Lower spine corner: Light scuffing, small peel where it meets the back cover. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Tiny crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent, and ~1/4 as a light bend. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Small scuff/adjacent cover indent at its middle, otherwise light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Small vertical indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent, and ~1/4 as a light bend. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff, goes lightly thru ~5 pages. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff, goes lightly thru ~5 pages. **Additionally: Front cover possesses the book's only real flaw: a ~1.5" crease/~6" depressions attached to a ~1/2" indent starting near its center (photo#10 w/illumination). ~Three lighter ~1/2" depressions around cover's center. Back cover has a light ~1.5" depression near the upper spine corner (photo#11 w/illumination).
