Description: Up for bid is an old painted wood duck decoy with great patina. It is about 12 1/2 inches long by 4 3/4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall. It is made of wood, with an inserted head and painted green eyes. It is painted in black and white with a red bill. It has a metal staple with some string, as well as the stub of a copper nail, on the bottom. It has an adhesive label “No-149”, possibly a collection ID number.Condition on the piece is fairly good. There is considerable wear to the top of the head, but mostly normal usage wear elsewhere. A nice old decoy.
