Description: 387 Foley Belsaw Filer. Great condition. We went through it and thoroughly checked it out. We replaced the belt and pulley with new ones. Carriers included... 1 Crown1 Straight 1 Backsaw ( the backsaw one needs the "L" brackets made. These are not like the ones on the other carriers but easier to make. A simple drawing with measurements will be included from a original. Basically a 2" square with a 1/4 lip and one center hole drilled in the main square.) ALL carriers were sand blasted, not toughly but quickly to remove the main rust. And ALL main screws replaced with stainless one. Be careful there are some other machines in the background, only the 387 filer featured with carriers leaning against it are for sale here. Also, I included a picture of my personnel 387 (LAST PICTURE) restored for comparison with a new paint job and shorter stand, that wasn't offered, so I can sit my butt down when sharpening. I really dont know what to to do about shipping here....We say local pickup only but I afraid to ship it without incurring damage. The most damage that i have seen have been with these with machines during shipping. Bent knobs, broken large pulley, broken main shaft arm... etc etc etc. Coming to us, not going out.I'm use to building crates for machines we sell but i would need to charge for that service and with cost of shipping on top of that, with the stand is going to make this not cost effective. So im open to ideas if you would like shipping of some kind.
