They are immediately packaged in a room with very low humidity. Each berry is sealed up so opening one berry does not expose the others to humidity. Ships in a box so berries will not be damaged. Many times fruits are picked too early and are sour. Strawberries that are sour will turn into sweet treats, almost like candy strawberries. BPA free packaging and the tree they come from is 11 years old and maybe 3 feet tall.This trees receives daily rain water only, full sun, and only mild amounts of organic fertilizer.
