Description: Offering a bold but graceful three-light fixture in the manner of Boretti, the notable Lyonnaise 1920s Art Deco lighting manufacturer, with its original nickel plating and two-tone acid patina, in antique condition. This fixture, with its ample dimensions, has lots of presence. Note the intricate and lovely decorations on the canopy and the sides of the three arms. Fitted with three American candelabra sockets (60 watts maximum each), and rewired. The beautiful frosted, colorless (appearing white as a result of the frosting) glass shades are acid-etched and hand-blown. Originally this fixture was lacquered to protect the two-tone patina. That lacquer shows the results of having been exposed to atmospheric elements over the decades, with a slight darkening and shift in color. There are a few places where the lacquer has been compromised by scratching, etc. The two-tone patina adds originality and drama to the piece, which is why I didn't take it all apart and have it re-plated.
