I used to find very beached ziczac cowries in the rubble on the little beach on Kwajalein, along with all of the other little beached and bleached cowries that literally made up the high tide line of the tiny beach, and I can tell you that most of the ones I found had no color, just a hint of the ziczac pattern, if I was lucky---nothing like this beauty!
