Gorgeous Closepack WHITEFRIARS Faceted w/Elaborate Cutting Paperweight 1975 EC

Hello, you are bidding on a beautiful Whitefriars millefiori paperweight with 5 side facets and one top facet. Magnification and visibility to the central pattern is excellent. What is most stunning about this weight is the intricate cutting around all facets from top to bottom as the photos show. I have photographed the weight with both a white background and a black one to capture the facets and detailed cutting around them all. The choice of cane colors is extremely pleasing, various shades of blues surrounded by a tight ring of crisp white canes. The millefiori base is reflected clearly in each of the side facets. It is approximately 3 inches across in size. This paperweight is unique in that it appears to be a closepack of canes, unusual for Whitefriars style. There are no airpockets or spaces between the canes, especially in the surrounding gorgeous white ring. It is in excellent condition with no chips, scratches, marks, or restoration. Its original Whitefriars label is still attached. Its monk cane reads 1975 as its year of production. This paperweight is truly a lovely example of Whitefriars, England at its very best.
