Description: Very good vintage condition. Case has some fine surface scratches; crystal looks great with minimal scratching. Watch was acquired without a crown; it was replaced with a similar crown harvested from another high-end vintage watch. Watch is secured using a folder clasp with an added security button release. It once had a security chain judging from extra crimped pieces that had been clipped. Watch runs and tells time; crown/stem winds and adjusts hands smoothly. Length of watch measures 6.5 inches; anticipate an additional .25 inches to comfortably work the clasp. For size guidance, size of wrist in pictures is 6.5 inches. Watch has a total of 32 baguette and mine cut diamonds. The watch case is encrusted with 28 diamonds: 6 2.3mmx1.4mm baguettes; 10 1.5mm rounds; 4 1.3mm rounds; 4 1mm rounds; and 4 0.8mm rounds. Two slider pieces are also accent by 4 2mm round diamonds. Inside of case is signed GRUEN, marked PLATINUM, and stamped with the number 14233. A remarkable, one of a kind Gruen piece. Carefully wrapped and shipped in a jewelry gift box.
