Description: Christmas is my time of year to celebrate and decorate. My husband and son take cover knowing the chaos that happens before the warmth and beauty appears. This was one of several Christmas stockings and Christmas Stocking Hangers that Santa filled for our son. He is now 29 and has landed on his favorite. This year I am reluctantly listing lots of Christmas goodies that have been in storage for 2 decades. This old time traditional Santa stocking holder/hanger will bring a smile to your face as Santa smokes his pipe and rests his bag of toys. Hanging from his foot is a hand needlepoint stocking with a solid red back on canvas wool and cotton. The needlepoint depicts two young children at the window seeing Santa and his sled of reindeer cross the sky. The details are quite remarkable. The set was purchased around 1996.
