Description: You are buying a new never displayed hand painted red-winged blackbird wood cut-out on top. On the bottom are two more painted red-winged blackbirds holding on to the top of the cattails. This is an actual picture I took last spring when all the blackbirds come to nest in our pond in the cattails. The main wood is basswood, bought from a hobby store and it is 11 1/2" in height x 7 3/4" wide and is 1/2" thick. The red-winged blackbird, I cut out on my bandsaw, then painted it and is glue on and screwed on from the back-see other pictures. The blackbird is 4 1/2" in height x 10" in width and made out of 1/2" (actual 7/16") aspen wood. Looks like a 3D picture! the aspen wood is bought from a general store that carries wood. You can see I have put a hanger on the back for easy hanging. I painted this with acrylic paints with a coat of polycrylic on it. Click the shipping details icon! See my other listings.
