Description: Handmade Vintage Mexican Themed Cotton/Linen Embroidered TableclothThe fabric is a light brown and looks a bit like linen to me but could be a heavy cotton.Measures 44" x 45" - almost square. Beautiful embroidery work completed on this tablecloth. Last picture is of the back of the embroidery - my mother told me a loooong time ago to see the quality of hand work look at the back. The corners diagonally mirror each other. There is a man sitting leaning against a brick/adobe wall with a palm tree in the background. He is wearing a sombrero and a serape. The foreground has a cactus plant and a couple colorful pots. The woman is getting water from a well using a colorful pot. She is wearing a colorful puff sleeved dress and has one hand on her hip.There are stamped areas that can be finished - zig zag border and zig zag square more in the center. Cloth has been neatly basted but this should be machine stitched or handstitched with smaller stitches to keep it from comingi undone.Fun small project to finish it up or can be used as is. Condition is excellent - never used.
