Description: Hello friends. I'm a pro guitar builder offering some unique 100% Handmade in the USA electric guitars, necks, and bodies. Offered here is an eye catching 5A Flame Maple and 1 piece Spanish Cedar Stratocaster style body. Spanish Cedar is a lightweight great looking and resonant alternative to Genuine Mahogany which is heavy and expensive these days. Like old LP's this is the type of Flame Maple that flashes when you move around it. The first 5 photos alternate indoor and outdoor to show it in different light and angles. The first three the top is wet with naphtha to show the flame figure. The rest are dry. Please note there's one tiny dark sap spot on the back. On top there's a few minor flaws that will be hidden under the bridge or pickup rings ...see last few photos. Otherwise, New condition. The unique aspect of this guitar is the contours which show the contrast between light and dark woods. The bass side has a beveled contour similar to an SG so its comfortable to play standing or sitting. The cutaways are slightly deeper than normal. This body will work with any Fender or compatible 25-1/2" scale Strat neck, 4 bolt neck plate, and popular 2-1/16" narrow spaced hardtail bridges. I do rout my neck pockets right on 2-3/16" wide with very tight tolerance so necks fit snug. If your neck measures much more than 2.1875" wide at the heel with calipers, you may need to sand the neck or the pocket for proper fit. This is by design. Pickup routs are 3/4" deep and 1-1/8" at the ends to use short leg humbuckers with a ring. Control cavity is compact for barebones volume, tone and blade switch. You will need to drill holes to mount your bridge, pickups, jackplate, and strap buttons. Everything else is done. It's sanded to 220g. You can probably start spraying sealer finish coat as is but its always good to reinspect for imperfections after unboxing. If you're going to stain or oil finish it I recommended sanded to 320g.
