It was hand painted/finished by local craftsmen in the Cotswold area of England. Harmony Kingdom description:"This box figurine, featuring a pride of lions, was the 1998 exclusive club redemption piece. The box interior has a miniature crown compartment that opens to reveal a mouse. The mouse is not Peter’s signature mouse, as David Lawrence created this piece. Instead, the mouse is part of the fable upon which this figurine was based – the tiny creature pulled the thorn from the mighty lion’s paw.
