Illustrated dust jacket intact with price ($5.95) and author photo on the back cover. Boards full bound in black cloth with blind stamping on the front and back covers and silver stamping on the spine. Yellow topstain. Fore edge deckled. Dust jacket lightly soiled with some discoloration to the cream fold overs. Margins bumped with the corners and bottom margin of the front cover creased. Minor scrapes and rubbed overall but no loss. The head and tail of the spine are bumped more significantly. Red ink at the bottom margin of the back fold-over. Board corners bumped and boards themselves lightly soiled. Head and tail of spine bumped and boards show signs of shelfwear. Binding shaky but sound. Spine material pulling away from the back of the book block but not too significantly. Top edge has some minor scratches and bottom edge has a Random House remainder mark. Free endsheet has a shadow of pencil that has since been erased. All other pages clean.
