Both brothers in one location proved to be too much for either and they decided to dissolve their partnership in 1891. Charles Edward Haviland continued with the business-Haviland &co. and Theodore Haviland opened his own business, Theodore Haviland, Limoges, in 1893. Offered is a Haviland Limoges France set of 4 Bread&Butter Plates in Schleiger 98 - "Clover Leaf". The pattern features a border design of clover leaves accented with red berries. The plates have a solid gold edge. They measure 6 " in diameter. There are no chips, cracks or crazing, the gold edges are in good condition.Pre-owned great condition for age.
