Description: I believe the pattern name is "Ranson" and one of the pieces in the set has a date of 1924 on it so I'm going by that. When I first saw it I thought it was a Christmas pattern maybe with pine needles and berries, but of course Haviland makes pattern identification so tough for us non-collectors! : ) This auction is for 4 pieces; 2 platters and 2 oval serving bowls. 1) Larger platter is about 13 1/2" long x 9 1/4" across. There's a little paint loss in the green border, probably because of having the smaller platter stacked on it. There's no sign of utensil scratching. Oh my gosh! I just noticed that in the right light I can see that it was prepared for an "R" monogram? Or, had one that someone tried to erase? See new photo! It's not very noticeable..... Backside says "F. B.N." in gold and "1924", as well as stamped mark. 2) Smaller platter is about 11 1/2" long x 8 1/2" across. Racine?, Germany, Bavaria stamp. 3) Larger bowl is about 10" across x 7 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" high. There's a little wear to green trim and only a few tiny scratches (don't look like utensil, just stacking. Foot/rim has a flake out of it. Hutschenreuther backstamp. 4) Smaller bowl is about 9 1/2" long x 7 1/4" across x 2 2/3" tall. Signed Haviland. I have more serving pieces/dinnerware to match this, see my other auctions if you need more. I usually ship within one day of receiving payment. Please pay within 2 days of auction's close. 5611
