Description: Incredible estate find frame measures 34 1/2" x 27" , etching measures 24 1/4" x 17 3/4" Unfortunately etching shows lots and lots of foxing, The curious matte shows some white paint arond the edges. the frame shows dust, paint residue, and some material loss/chips on the edges commensurate with age, display and wear there is some pinkish paint on the frame which runs along the edges of the frame, there is a chip on the top of the frame glass shows no cracks or chips just shows some light dust due to display and age , paper backing on the frame shows wear and tears, big tear on the center and one running across horizontally near the bottom of the frame There is a paper Museum tag on the back in Spanish which reads: "Museum of Modern Arts Buenos Aires/Hebe Salvat/'Everything Is Vanity' dated 1968 This must of been shown there. This great piece still show well despite it's shortcomings, fantastic surrealist piece from a listed but obscure post war artist. selling this fantastic piece just as shown in the pics See all the pics they are part of the description and ask any questions you have.
