It is a large, cheesewheel style pumpkin with deep orange skin and fruit. Mild and slightly sweet. One of the most popular and common pumpkins in the French marketplace in the 1880s. Keeps fresh for a long time after harvesting. *Zero-waste harvesting* Only the healthiest pumpkins are selected for seeds. Seeds are harvested, washed, and sorted by hand, then layed out on screens to air dry in a temperature and humidity controlled environment for 30-60 days to prevent mold growth. The pumpkin fruits are fed to our flock of free-range poultry. Plant greens are fed to the cattle.
