Up for your consideration is a multi-media print by Hisashi Otsuka entitled "Profile of Loyalty" from his collection of the legends of the 47 Ronin Bushido Suite. According to Mr. Otsuka, in the heart of Japan is the samurai code of "bushido". The warriors lived by a code of honor, courage, courtesy, sincerity, loyalty and self-control. These virtues were etched forever in the soul of the Japanese people. This print is signed and numbered 1754/2000. Otsuka used a process called mezzotint and embossing on textured rice paper. Please look at the photos carefully. I'm not a photographer so there are some reflections on the glass. Photos taken with my I-Phone so colors are not as sharp. This print is 25" X 18" and framed it is 34" X 26-1/2". It is museum mounted in black lacquer bamboo style frame and dark red silk. It is in excellent condition and is from my private collection of Otsuka's prints signed and numbered prints. I try to be as accurate as possible in my description of an item.
