Historic Providence Mint WORLD CURRENCY & STAMPS Collection (141 Notes), RARE

Description: This is a unique opportunity to own an Impeccable and Rare collection of Notes and Stamps from the Historic Providence Mint, which began printing the series in 1980. This is a collection of international currencies featuring bank notes, official UN Stamps and one-day only "first day of issue" postal cancelations.This entire collection (Notes, Stamps and the Simulated Leather Binders) was my Father's and is in Excellent Condition (see photos). Each Note and Stamp is mounted on a collector's card with artwork and separated from the next one by a sheet of tissue paper. Each page includes details about the country where the bill comes from and a country flag.As you can see from one of the photos, the total collection consisted of 5 volumes (159 Notes): 32 Notes in Vol. 1, 31 Notes in Vol. 2, 32 Notes in Vol. 3, 32 Notes in Vol. 4 and 31 Notes in Vol 5. This collection has 141 Notes.This collection is missing 4 Notes from Vol. 1 (Czechoslovakia, Djibouti, Bolivia, Cameroon). Volumes 2, 3, and 4 are complete. Volume 5 includes 18 Notes (Guatemala, Spain, St. Lucia, The Netherlands, Honduras, Denmark, Yemen, Cote d'lvoire, Iran, Lesotho, Democratic Kampuchea, Brunei Darussalem, St. Kitts and Nevis, Zaire, Indonesia, Libya, Cyprus, Sudan). The Collection also includes numerous inserts titled 'The Currency Chronicles' giving various insights/stories related to the notes (see photo). Also included is an 'Anatomy of a Currency Card' explaining everything on the individual pages (see photos). The Currency Cards have the Official H.P.M. Seal & Individual Registration Number. Also included is an additional Note page for Great Britain that is missing the Note (see photo). (The correct Note page for Great Britain is in Vol. 2).Also included is a page for Portugal that is missing the Note (everything else is there).
