I do not know how many total volumes were published in this series, but here are 10 of them. I have to believe that the authors of these volumes were guys that were actually there. Nine of these authors are U.S. Army Generals. The tenth volume - on the Special Forces - was written by a Colonel. These books came from a retired U.S. Army Colonel. He was an avid collector and historian of guns, knives, bayonets, other military items and beyond. He had a large reference library - the best collectors always do.
