Description: Huge Rare Lightning Jim Radio Show Transcription Vinyl Record Collection Each of these records is 16" wide and double sided (bar the last 2) and depict a radio show called "Lightning Jim" from the 1940's-50's. (Anne Murray record is there to show size difference) These are referred to as transcription records and they were sent to radio stations to play, and after they had to be returned to the manufacturer. In digging a little deeper, I found a couple online archives of Lightning Jim episodes, but only 1-41 are intact. The rest are still waiting to be uploaded on unplayed vinyl records in the ZIV archive collection, with hundreds of other radio shows. Knowing that, these are the only known copies outside of the archives of these episodes to exist at the moment. I have the following episodes on these large discs: Each record has a Part 1 on each side and the next correlating record would have Part 2 of those episodes on each side; meaning record one has part 1 of episode 87 and 88. Then the 2nd record would have Part 2 of episode 87 and 88. All complete Parts One and Two except for episodes, 71,72 67, 68 69-Buried Alive 70-Lightning Jim Traps A Ghost 71, 72 (Part 1 of each) 73, 74 75-Six Shooters Versus the Law 76-Manhunt 77-The Law Comes to Cottonwood 78-Wells Fargo Stagecoach Robbery 79-The Brand Inspector 80-Indian Wardrums 81, 82 83-Indian Fires 84-El Capitan 85-Lightning Jim and the Train Robbers 86-The Promised Land 87-Rustlin Beef 88-The Dover Boys 89, 90 91-Lightning Jim's Close Call 92-Jennie Gets Her Man 93, 94 95-The Killer Strikes 96-Mystery of the Waterfalls 97 Parts 1&2 on 2 discs There were 98 Lightning Jim episodes made, though the 97 discs are one-sided. There are a total of 31 records included in this collection and it is quite unlikely that a lot of this size will come up for sale again. I will definitely send more details, pictures, videos, or anything you need to ensure you have no concerns or questions in regard to these records. I will also add that these are untested. I do not have the equipment to play a 16" vinyl record. (My Magnavox console is simply not large enough. Please message me with any questions. These come from my smoke and pet free residence. (Crate and Anne Murray not included)
