Description: Huge Vintage 14k Gold Brutalist Nugget Oval Jade Cabochon Ring Sz 6 HEAVY 12.7gr Click images to enlarge Description Offered here is a vintage solid 14k gold jade "statement ring" that takes up residence on the hand. It is a high quality ring with a very heavy, handmade brutalist gold nugget style mounting. It coul be worn by a woman or a man. Jade rings never seem to photograph well--this is nicer in person, than pictured. The oval cabochon jade measures about 24.75 x 18.5mm. It is set in securely set within extensions (not really "prongs) of the mounting. The jade is an olive green with nice translucency (see photo of light coming through the back side). The setting has "bumpy" gold shoulders with some open areas in the gold,and the inner shank is just polished gold (which could be sized if necessary). It's a very impressive ring on the hand. This big vintage jade ring measures 1" north to south by 3/4" east to west. It has a partial unreadable maker's mark and is stamped 14k.
