Description: Here for your consideration we have an very large, outstanding Italian hand carved and gilded wall sconce featuring 3 wrought iron candle arms and wonderful carvings of musical instruments including a large central lyre, a tambourine, several horns, and a pan flute. Additional carvings include, a large French bow at the top, cords, tassels, and ribbons, a pine cone, bunches of grapes and leaves, and other various naturalistic devices. Excellent condition with old world patina and some loss to the gilding as would be expected and looks perfect on this piece. Measures 27" x 27" x 12" deep. C.1920.
