From 1981 to 1993, it was known as the International Guild of Sorcery, then, from 1993 to 2010, it changed its name to the International Guild of Advanced Sciences until its most recent incarnation of International Guild of Occult Sciences, which operates to this day. IGOS is a nonprofit organization which gathered all manners of "secret and hidden knowledge".
