X-Men 97 Rogue 1:10 Art Scale Limited Edition Statue:When Rogue was 13 years old, she put her first boyfriend Cody into a coma when her powers manifested during her first kiss. With the mutant power of absorbing the life force and psyche of others through skin-to-skin touches, her father disowned her, and she ran away from home, getting rescued by the shapeshifter mutant Mystique in disguise. Seeing her as her mother, Mystique raised Rogue and taught her how to use her powers for stealing. Rogue joined the Brotherhood of Mutants and, to broaden her powers, Mystique prepared a trap for the original Miss Marvel superhero. During the theft of a jet aircraft in a military base, Miss Marvel and Rogue fought, and since Rogue held and touched her for so long, she acquired enhanced reflexes, flight, invulnerability, and superhuman strength, and after permanently stealing Miss Marvel's powers, the hero went into a coma. Rogue ran from Mystique and was found by Professor X who felt her anguish and despair. She then got better and became Charles Xavier's student, joining and X-Men where she fell in love with Gambit.This new collection of statues is painted as if the characters were coming out of the TV to the real world. Iron Studios presents the Rogue statue on a themed base in the "X" shape of the logo of the super group of mutant heroes.With the premiere scheduled to March 20th, 2024, X-Men ‘97 is a new animated series that is a sequel to the 1992 show X-Men: The Animated Series, continuing the plot from where the original series ended. After the loss of their leader Professor X, Storm and Wolverine try to continue the X-Men. Magneto arrives and wishes to replace Charles Xavier and Mr. Sinister returns to try to end the X-Men once and for all. Produced by Marvel Studios Animation for streaming service Disney+, the show's animation was updated in relation to the original series to use a more sophisticated modern technology, presenting modernized designs. The theme song is similar to the one from the original show, but was credited to Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, musical producers from X-Men: The Animated Series. X-Men ‘97 will be the first project entirely produced by Marvel Studios that is not part of the MCU. The series is also the first X-Men project by Marvel Studios since they got back the movie and TV rights for the characters, and Eric Lewald described the show as an extension of the original series created by the Marvel Studios team.
