Description: Classic IWC Ingeniuer, c. 1964. An early tool watch, this was IWC's anti-magnetic model, with a soft iron shield protecting the movement against magnetic fields. Distinctive black dial, double-signed with the original retailer's name, Türler. Original dial surface and hands. Unpolished stainless steel case, with its original sharp edges. Original soft iron shield still in place. Inside of the caseback is especially nice, with no scratch marks. Automatic movement cal. 8531 keeps excellent time at present. Service history is unknown. Original IWC beads of rice bracelet, made by Gay Frères. Dated 3-64. Fits wrist sizes up to 7.5 inches (190 mm).
