Description: Nov 6, 2023: I am lowering the price on this grouping, but I won't be going any lower than this. Shipping will still be free, but if we were to do the 300 reduction for a person-to-person - I will no longer deliver - you would need to pick it up. Thanks. A friend of mine - an older gentleman - is having me to sell for him his lifelong collection of Jaeger Bros / Aerial Cutlery knives and other items. Reason he is selling is to raise money so he can pay his property taxes. Maybe my starting price is a little high. We'll start here and see how it goes. I think this is a pretty fair price though if one were to try to buy all of these pieces individually - if indeed you could find them. Like this guy told me - "If I added up all the gas money and time I spent chasing for all these things - I'd probably be losing money." (BTW - I would take off 3-hundred if we could do this person-2-person, if you know what I mean.) From my understanding, Jaeger/Aerial started out in Duluth and then moved to Marinette, Wisconsin. I would have to think that back in the day they were a fairly large competitor to the Marbles Arms Company, at least with their hunting knives. This collection includes a total of 23 pieces - everything shown in the first photo. One price for the whole collection. Shipping only to any of the 50 U.S. states. Free shipping. Or I would deliver for free anywhere within one hour of Green Bay. Pieces include: * One 'picture' knife. Scene on one side is about 10 deer hanging on a pole and hunters. Scene on the other side is an elk and some ducks. Single blade is marked AERIAL CUTLERY CO MARINETTE WIS. Knife is 5" long when closed. Blade is about 4" long. I think this is maybe the best piece in the collection - and pretty decent shape overall. * One bayonet(?). Marked AERIAL U.S. M5. 11 1/4" long. Very nice condition. * Two straight razors. Both excellent condition. Both marked AERIAL CUTLERY MFG CO MARINETTE WIS. One marked BLACK BEAUTY. One marked OLD DUTCH - this one has a picture on the blade of the Aerial bridge in Duluth. * One table knife with wood handle. 9 " long. Marked AERIAL CUTLERY MFG CO MARINETTE WIS. * Four cleavers with wood handles. All about 12 1/2" long. All marked with the AC logo. * One small fold-up scissors. Marked A.C.M. CO. MARINETTE WIS. GERMANY Only 2" x 1" when folded up. * A total of 12 fixed blade hunting knives. Six of these have leather sheaths. Only one sheath is marked - THE "ARISTOCRAT" HUNTING KNIFE SPECIAL "VAN-X-CEL" STEEL BLADE. Six of these knives have the JAEGER BROS marking. Four of these knives have the AERIAL markings. Two of the knives marked MORLEY MURPHY HWE CO GREEN BAY WIS - but these are clearly Jaeger/Aerial products. * Also included - A full copy of Knife World newspaper from December 1989. Has a front page article on the history of Aerial Cutlery - plus 4 more pages inside continuing Aerial article. Many photos shown. Overall condition good to very good. These are not mint! Some markings very clear - some not so much. These items have wear - some more than others. These knives in most cases were used by hunters and outdoorsmen and some probably carried by the owners for many years. Back in this day a man's knife was an invaluable and a prized possession. Carried while hunting, trapping, fishing, camping - anytime in the woods. See photos please. If you need more photos of any particular item - just ask. Knives will be well packaged for safe shipment. Returns accepted with full refund if you are not satisfied. (You would need to pay return shipping.) Sorry, no sales to Canada or anywhere other than 50 U.S. states. HAPPY COLLECTING!
