Description: Estate sale find.This is a Banko porcelain teapot is decorated with a beautiful design in thick enamels of 3 cranes and different flowers. Pinched rim, striped dark and light grape rope around rim and spout, wire handle. Attributed to the late 19th Century, early 20th Century when Banko ware was in high production for export. Measures 3" H x 3 1/2" W. Condition is pre-owned in antique used condition (as found in estate).Note: the lid looks different, like made from a different material than the teapot, I am not sure what kind of material it is or if belongs to this teapot originally (they were found together in an estate sale).
