Description: Vtg Javit Clipper Ship Collection Cut Glass Martini Pitcher/4 Old Fashioned Glasses In its heyday, Javit was the largest U.S. firm producing hand-cut and machine cut glassware, with cutting shops in Cumberland, Maryland, and Jane Lew, West Virginia. This vintage mid-century 5-piece blown glass decanter set from the discontinued Clipper Collection by Javit includes one martini pitcher and 4 double old fashioned glasses. Each piece is hand engraved with a clipper ship/schooner motif accented with seagulls. Pitcher measures 8" high, 3" across and holds 32 oz. Glasses have a thick pedestal base, measure 3 1/2" high, 3" across, and hold 8 oz. Everything is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, just a little very minor scratching.
