Description: Jeannette Glass Floragold "Golden Iridescent" Round Dome-Covered, Square Plate Butter Dish 1950's to possibly 1983 when Jeannette closed its doors. 3 3/4"H to dome finial, 6 1/4" "Curved" Square Width & Length, Plate itself is 1"H, Depth below the rim is 7/8" A 1964 Jeannette catalog described the pattern & finish as "lustrous Amberglo"... :-) It is typically referred to as Depression Glass, but is actually Carnival Glass produced from the 50's, not 30's & 40's. A nickname it picked up is "Louisa" as it closely mimics the depression era pattern by Westmoreland Glass. Please read the separate area Item Condition: USED description.
