They support the round metal dowel like door surround used on factory style soft tops.These fit 76-86 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7 but only work with the tops that had snaps to secure them to the body. They mount on either side of the windshield frame. These are in good shape including where the dowel rod inserts.You will receive what is pictured.
