Description: Vintage Lithograph Print by Joan Miró created in tribute to Jacques Prevert. Originally purchased from Galerie Moderne of Brentano's in New York, the Brentano's certificate is still glued to the back of the frame. This red and black lithograph is titled "Wizard with Moon and Stars" and was created by Miro as a tribute to Prevert's poem titled Composition #6. Matted in the color of unbleached linen and framed, under glass, in brown wood with gold trim, the entire piece measures approximately 15 inches high by 13.75 inches wide by 1.75 inches thick. Originally purchased by my parents well over 50 years ago. They never hung the print but stored it in its original packaging which is where we found it when clearing out the family home. Promptly shipped from a smoke free home.
