The outer is cut from cowhide leather that will wear and age beautifully, but the jacket is also fitted with a waterproof membrane and a removable thermal layer, making it more than just a sunny Sunday option. The fit is adjustable, with snaps and velcro snaps built into the sleeves and waist. Should you meet the tarmac unexpectedly, this jacket not only has elbow and shoulder armour included (back armour available separately), but the leather (already abrasion resistant) is reinforced with John Doe's proprietary XTM fabric, with Kevlar fibres.
