Description: Johnson Century 45th Anniversary Fishing Reel (Manufactured around 1997) In 1997 all manufacturing of Johnson reels was shipped overseas to China. This was one of the reels they produced. The design was copied/mirrored from the US made Century 100B. Most people listing these reels don't mention that they were made in China. I like to be transparent. I stripped this reel completely apart, cleaned and inspected every part. I replaced anything that would impact the operation of the reel. I loaded fresh 6lb test clear blue fluorescent line so I could check the reel out. The reel works great. You can install this reel on a rod and go fishing right out of the box. This reel can be set up for right or left-handed operation. If you would like it set up for left-handed operation left me know. I will be happy to swap it over before it’s shipped.
