Description: This listing is for the shoe repair service of having NEW VIBRAM brand lug soles (see photos) installed on YOUR Kenetrek boots. This service is only available on 1-boots in good enough condition to be resoled, 2-Certain Kenetrek styles (Mountain Extreme and Hiker) which have a soft midsole covered by a harder rubber outsole (see photos). You may need to send me photos (via Ebay) of your boots, prior to purchasing this service to make sure they meet these two requirements. The outsole will be removed and an new one glued onto the soft midsole of the boot. The new sole will have a true breasted heel, not a wedge style heel like the original (see photo with finger pointing to the true breasted heel). Be advised: The new heel will be attached by nails in the heel seat. The new Vibram brand deep lug sole offers improved traction and grip, over the original Kenetrek sole. The uppers of the boots will be re-conditioned and treated with silicone waterproofing. I will not accept extremely worn down, blown out or badly damaged boots for repair. How it works: 1-You contact me via this listing and attach photos of the boots you want repaired. 2-Once I approve the repair, you purchase this listing and send your boots to the address I will provide. You must pay the shipping to get them out to me, return shipping is included in the price you pay for the service. 3-Once I receive the boots the work will be completed and they will be returned to you. Turn around time is 1 to 2 weeks (the 30 day shipping time is required in order to receive your item, perform the repairs, and return them). I have been a master shoe repairman for more than 35 years. As you can see from the before and after photos, I will take pride in providing a hand crafted rebuild of your boots.
