Description: This unusual royal souvenir is a rare piece originating from a small shop in London's East End. These plates and mugs were sold at KK Outlet's store in Hoxton Square in the lead up to the Royal Wedding in April 2011. KK Outlet is a workspace, gallery area and shop for the Amsterdam based communications agency KesselsKramer. KesselKramer hired 7 designers to create an updated souvenir for the modern "Facebook Age" collector. They also currently are selling a similar series dedicated to the Queen's 70th Platinum Jubilee on their site. Manufactured by Edwarian China located in Stoke-on-Trent that specializes in silk screen printing and decorating of fine bone china. The production quality is high resulting in a solid heavy plate with a glossy fired on graphic. There is slight damage to the graphic along the ridge near the S in THANKS extending into the E in THE , the first E in FREE, as well as the second F in OFF. See closeup in photos.
