This is 1 of K.O.A. very best knives even if the handle isn't covered in dark stag color, FOR THE MONEY YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER STAG HANDLE BOWIE KNIFE. These handles are polished and protected the way K.O.A. makes them. Model # 037FG. This is the Beast of Knife, KNIVES OF ALASKA has really put a special Bowie knife up for sale. it is Huge it feels fantastic in hand at 10.5" long and weighing 8.7oz to 9.3oz this next knife weighs 9.0oz. without the sheath, 12.8oz with the sheath, these knives do vary because of the natural materials. The leather sheath yes awesome is how I'd word it and I do own one I'd say if you can afford one buy one you will love the knife and I rarely ever say that. This same knife is made with a Black Non-Slip handle 014FG if you can't afford a stag handle knife you can still own one of the better knives made, for less monies. These are a series of superior knives to start with they are 100% made in America, using all American parts. AND THE HANDLE'S ON ALL OF THE KNIVES ARE HUGE. We went from 22 to 2 in the last 5 weeks yes the holidays and Hunting are to thank for that. But we are still shipping 20 to 30 packages per day that is 300 to 420 pictures. What would you rather we do ship on time or take pictures. I will say we sell many more of these knives with the Sure Grip Handle and that's understandable there's almost a hundred dollars difference between the stag and sure grip, but both are fantastic knives and if you can afford one with a stag handle great but if not don't think you're getting a lessor knife the only difference is the handle your still getting one of the best blades made in the U.S.A. The stag handle is a must-see they cut finger grooves into the handle and yet it is smooth no splintering perfect. We finally got 12 more of these knives we've been out of them for months we sold-out just before hunting season, these are one of the most beautiful stag handle knives K.O.A. makes. But if this beauty costs too much you can buy one with the black non-slip handle 014FG we just want you to be aware of this. I own one of these knives and I never thought I would be able to own a knife like this and yes I am super happy, I'd rather own this knife over many other brands that cost hundreds of dollars more there are 5 and 6 hundred dollar knives out there that are not nearly as nice as this K.O.A. PLEASE REMEMBER IT IS STAG A NATURAL MATERIAL, that we have no control over what the manuf, sends us, plus right now getting any quality stag is very hard I'd be happy to get some Caribou Handles the way things are going. We have sold plenty of Caribou handles they are normally pure white but very thick and that's allot better than nothing.
